EHS Executive

Position: Executive – Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)
Department: EHS
Location: Panli, Ankleshwar
Experience:4-6 Years (Preferred in Manufacturing / Chemical / Agro Chemical Industry)

1. Job Purpose

To ensure compliance with all Environment, Health & Safety regulations and company safety standards, promote safe work practices, and support the implementation of EHS programs across the plant.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Safety Management

• Conduct daily safety rounds and identify unsafe acts/conditions.
• Ensure availability and proper use of PPE by all employees and contractors.
• Monitor confined space, work at height, hot work, and other permit-to-work activities.
• Conduct safety toolbox talks, safety induction, and awareness programs.
• Investigate accidents/near misses and prepare reports with corrective actions.

B. Environment Management

• Monitor waste disposal, air emissions, effluent, and noise levels.
• Support compliance with environmental norms (GPCB / CPCB / MOEF, etc.).
• Maintain records of hazardous waste, manifest, and disposal documents.
• Assist in environmental sampling and coordination with external agencies.

C. Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain statutory registers, inspection records, and audit documentation.
• Prepare monthly EHS reports and assist during internal/external audits.
• Ensure compliance with Factories Act, OSHA, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 frameworks.

D. Training & Development

• Conduct safety induction for new employees and contractors.
• Organize EHS training programs and maintain training records.

E. Emergency Preparedness

• Assist in conducting mock drills (Fire, Chemical Spill, Disaster).
• Maintain emergency equipment, fire extinguishers, hydrant systems, etc.
• Participate in risk assessments (HIRA, JSA).

3. Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of industrial safety rules and environmental norms.
• Strong observation and incident-reporting skills.
• Ability to conduct training and safety counseling.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of MS-Office and EHS documentation.

4. Qualification

• Degree in Engineering with ADIS / PGDIS / Safety Diploma (mandatory).
• Certification in First Aid, Fire Safety, ISO 14001/45001 preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹540,000.00 - ₹620,000.00 per year
