Req ID:477848 RESPONSIBILITIES:Support Project Management in achieving EHS results.Develop and implement EHS plans and programs to achieve EHS objectives and drivecontinuous improvementDevelop implement and maintain the EHS Management System, in line with Alstomstandards and international standards (EHS roadmaps, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, )Deploy Alstom EHS standards and tools (e-book, Directives, Transport specificrequirements, etc.)Monitor compliance with all relevant EHS statutory, regulatory, contractual and companyrequirementsMonitor compliance with contractual environmental requirements like air quality Noiseand vibration / contaminationMonitor compliance with the safety management plan and support to project team .Ensure that documents and data are maintained to ensure compliance with requirementsEnsure that there are adequate documented safety and environmental processes andprocedures in place to address the activates of the businessPrepare, support the implementation of and maintain emergency plansPrepare and deliver and EHS training program (with the support of HR/Assistant) and RC -EHS teamEnsure activities of subcontractors are managed with respect to EHS, especially whereinterfaces are involved with other contractors or operational areas(with support ofMaintenance Team, Retrofit team & Validation team)Coordinate the review and approval of EHS Risk Assessments and Method StatementsEnsure that any near misses/accidents/incidents are first prevented, controlled, and whenoccurring reported, recorded, investigated and analyzed. Establish and communicateincidents reports including EHS alertsOrganize and lead internal EHS audits and inspections along with project team.Prepare and submit monthly EHS reports on time.Promote a positive culture of active participation, at all levels of the business , for mattersrelating to EHS to ensure compliance with requirementsAdvise key stakeholders including customers and management on EHS and riskmanagement techniques, methods and controlsFacilitate the development of EHS planned activities to address EHS issues and initiativesImplement and improve EHS systems at all levelsQualifications & Skills:

Significant experience in industrial environment and electrical environment. Experience inrailway safety an advantage.Good knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental protectionlegislation and regulations and standards ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001Proven experience of EHS, knowledge of local legal requirementsExperience of risk assessment and environmental impact analysis and survey; knowledgeof tools and methodologies.Experience of Health & Safety management, experience of environmental impactsmanagement , Experience of incident investigations and root cause analysis, Experience ininspection and auditingEDUCATIONUniversity Degree (BE, B. Tech) / Diploma in Engg. From reputated institite + Industrial SafetyEngineering. OR ANY Diploma in industrial safety from any state board approved collage, RLI /CLI candidates are appropriate / Prevention of Occupational Risks (Safety Specialist IndustrialHygienist Ergonomics Specialist).BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:Communicating with transparencyDelivers clear messages with the ability tocommunicate to different levelsCustomer Focus / Management skillsThink proactively and strategically.Operational oriented and AdaptabilityTeam work and ready to accept the challengesTECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCELanguage Skills:
