Develop and implement EHS plans and programs to achieve EHS objectives and drive continuous improvement Develop implement and maintain the EHS Management System, in line with Alstom standards and international standards (EHS roadmaps, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, ) Deploy Alstom EHS standards and tools (e-book, Directives, Transport specific requirements, etc.) Monitor compliance with all relevant EHS statutory, regulatory, contractual and company requirements Monitor compliance with contractual environmental requirements like air quality Noise and vibration / contamination Monitor compliance with the safety management plan and support to project team . Ensure that documents and data are maintained to ensure compliance with requirements Ensure that there are adequate documented safety and environmental processes and procedures in place to address the activates of the business Prepare, support the implementation of and maintain emergency plans Prepare and deliver and EHS training program (with the support of HR/Assistant) and RC - EHS team Ensure activities of subcontractors are managed with respect to EHS, especially where interfaces are involved with other contractors or operational areas(with support of Maintenance Team, Retrofit team & Validation team) Coordinate the review and approval of EHS Risk Assessments and Method Statements Ensure that any near misses/accidents/incidents are first prevented, controlled, and when occurring reported, recorded, investigated and analyzed. Establish and communicate incidents reports including EHS alerts Organize and lead internal EHS audits and inspections along with project team. Prepare and submit monthly EHS reports on time. Promote a positive culture of active participation, at all levels of the business , for matters relating to EHS to ensure compliance with requirements Advise key stakeholders including customers and management on EHS and risk management techniques, methods and controls Facilitate the development of EHS planned activities to address EHS issues and initiatives Implement and improve EHS systems at all levels Qualifications & Skills: Significant experience in industrial environment and electrical environment. Key Responsibilities: Project Execution & Leadership Lead on-site execution of safety consulting assignments at the clients steel plant, ensuring alignment with project goals and safety standards. Oversee deployment, task assignment, and performance management of Safety Officers, Safety Auditors, and Subject Matter Experts. Monitor and track project progress on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis; submit performance reports to CORE EHS Headquarters. Client & Stakeholder Coordination Serve as the primary point of contact for all client interactions, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of issues. Represent CORE EHS in project review meetings, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance audits. Coordinate and implement client-specific requirements and ensure timely delivery of agreed-upon milestones and outcomes. Safety Compliance & Consulting Provide expert guidance to the clients HSE team on the implementation and auditing of safety management systems, including ISO 45001 and IS 14489. Conduct comprehensive hazard identification and risk assessments; recommend and oversee implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Lead safety initiatives including awareness campaigns, toolbox talks, safety training programs, and mock drills to foster a safety-first culture. Documentation & Reporting Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all site safety activities, including incident and near-miss reports, safety audits, and action plans. Prepare and submit detailed monthly progress reports, including KPI dashboards, to CORE EHS senior management. Team Management Supervise and mentor the on-site EHS team to maintain high standards of professionalism and safety performance. Conduct daily briefings, manage shift-wise manpower planning, and lead weekly performance evaluations to ensure operational efficiency. Training & Capacity Building Assess training needs and coordinate regular safety training workshops for both client employees and contractor personnel. Facilitate integration and adoption of CORE EHSs digital safety tools and methodologies across site operations. Eligibility Criteria: Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Metallurgy / Electrical / Production / Industrial Engineering Mandatory: Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety (recognized under Factories Act) Experience: Minimum 10+ years in Industrial Safety Management Minimum 5 years in steel industry safety Experience in project coordination and team handling in client-deputed safety consulting roles Skills Required: Strong knowledge of applicable safety legislations, IS/ISO/EHS standards Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), incident tracking systems Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills Knowledge of Hindi and English (spoken & written) is essential

Youll make an impact by: Provide management and employees with competent EHS advice and action plans. Preferred candidate profile Requirements and skills Physical Requirements: Ability to conduct inspections and audits, which may involve walking, standing, or climbing. Capable of wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Work Environment: May involve working in both office and field environments. Occasionally required to work outside regular hours to address safety concerns or emergencies. Educational qualification: Bachelors degree in environmental science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) are a plus. Years of Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental health and safety, preferably in a similar industry. Skills: Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency with EHS management software and tools.

Effective implementation of Site EHS policies and procedures. Ensure Compliance to all EHS legislation and JM group EHS requirements. Carry out EHS audits and Inspections on day to day basis and proactively lead EHS improvement plans at Site and help achieve the target of Zero EHS incidents. Basic qualifications: Degree/Diploma in any branch of Engineering or Science Graduate. Work experience at Industrial Steam/Gas Turbine installation, commissioning, servicing & maintenance at least for 3 to 5 years. At least 2 to 3 years as independent site EHS in-charge.Have completed at least two service sites successfully. Experience in working at Power Plant will be an added advantage. Experience of handling multiple project sites as an EHS coordinator. Detailed knowledge of all maintenance requirements pertaining to EHS. Able to independently conduct EHS planning, EHS audits, EHS Training, Hazard Identification Risk Assessment, reporting and Contractor evaluation. Preparation of MIS and presentation to the Field services and EU EHS Head management.

Role & responsibilities 1. Safe working Conditions : i) Ensure safe working condition in the workplace and report unsafe conditions to the concerned authority. ii) Prepare & Ensure compliance of SOPs for Work Permit systems. iii) Ensure readiness of fire fighting systems by periodic checking and testing iv) Monitor the usages of personal protective equipment by the employees in the premises. v) Conduct the safety sampling department wise & monitors the unsafe conditions in a particular department & highlighted the same to the concern persons. vi) Monitor the first aid box in the premises for proper availability of medicines. vii) Conduct periodic mock-drills, training programs, prepare reports and implement action points. viii)Prepare and maintain EHS documents as well as records. ix) Monitor operation and maintenance of Effluent treatment plant and effluent quality. 2. Statutory Compliances / Liasioning : i) Monitor the reports for air ambient, stack, noise, treated water etc for the parameters set in the MPCB consent. ii) Ensure compliance of Factory Acts requirements, such as Pressure Vessel testing reports, Mock-drills report, On-Site-Emergency Plan etc. iii) Investigate incidents and Dangerous Occurrence (DO) and implement corrective and preventive measures and maintain records. iv) Monitor the water consumption for process, cooling tower & domestic as mentioned in the consent & prepare the cess return quarterly. v) Ensure disposal of hazardous waste to authorized party with intimation to GPCB. Organize Medical Examination of employees and contract workers periodically in conjunction with P&A department and maintain records (Form 7) Preferred candidate profile i) Impart training on Safety to new recruits, employees, contractors, contract employees. ii) Periodically evaluate Training Effectiveness. Emergency Preparedness 1.Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures. 2.Conduct drills and exercises to test emergency response capabilities. 3.Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure readiness for potential emergencies. EHS Performance Monitoring and Reporting 1.Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor EHS performance. 2.Collect and analyse data to evaluate EHS performance and identify areas for improvement. 3.Prepare and submit reports to management and regulatory bodies as required. EXPERIENCE 1. Proven experience in EHS roles, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. 2. Minimum 2 Year of Experience as SO. 3. Should have Facility Management experience. 4. Applicable to work on remote locations.
