More about Gravita can be explored at: http://www.gravitaindia.com Job Purpose Shall be responsible for one of the Manufacturing locations to lead HSE function. Location Mundra Department EHS Reporting to Head- EHS Job Responsibility Ø Implementing HSE management systems ISO45001, ISO14001, organization HSE policies, practices and procedures, along with line management support. Ø Establish and sustain the HSE systems to manage the safe workplace. Ø Ensure the compliance with legal and other HSE requirements. Ø Organize necessary HSE training to workforce to develop awareness. Ø Facilitate and support all dept to carryout Risk& Opportunity, HIRA, EAI and advise additional controls. Ø To advise plant and equipment inspections & maintenance, and to carry out plant safety inspections on safe work practices to mitigate the unsafe conditions and unsafe acts. Ø Ensure the updated emergency response plan and preparedness in the factory, and safety & firefighting equipment are maintained in good conditions. Ø Ensure industrial hygiene and occupational health standards, monitoring reports are maintained. Ø Support locations and concerned team to set, achieve organizational HSE objectives & targets, Mission Zero goals. Ø Monthly reporting the HSE and sustainability key performance indicators Ø Facilitating internal and external HSE audits to ensure compliance with organization HSE standards and management systems. Ø Facilitating to report and investigate HSE incidents to identify the root causes of accidents and advise on corrective actions. Share the incident alerts. Ø Liaison with engineers, management and Health and Safety regulatory authorities. Organize HSE committee meetings, campaigns and promotional activities. Continuously improve the HSE standards, positive culture and develop the interest of the workforce in maintaining safe workplace. Qualification Graduate / Diploma in engineering, Graduate / Diploma in Safety & NEBOSH desirable Experience 2 to 7 years Industry Preferred Manufacturing Required knowledge/ competencies Technical (HSE) knowledge. HSE Management systems ISO45001, ISO14001 Excellent communication and analytical skills.
