Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated DevOps Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the DevOps culture within the organization, enhancing the efficiency of our development and operations teams through the implementation of best practices, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will lead a team of DevOps engineers and collaborate closely with software developers, QA engineers, and IT operations to streamline workflows and optimize the software development lifecycle. Role & responsibilities: 1. Deployment, automation, and management of AWS cloud-based production systems. 2. Ensuring the availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems. 3. Management of the creation, release, and configuration of production systems. 4. System troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms. 5. Definition and deployment of tools for automating different operational processes. 6. Define team goals and performance metrics, conducting regular evaluations and feedback sessions. Preferred candidate profile: 7 years plus of hands-on experience in DevOps, provisioning, operations, and management of AWS environments. Competency with AWS services such as ECS, EKS, ECR, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, CDN, SQS, ElastiCache, Glue ETL, and ALB. AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a strong advantage. Experience in code development in at least one high-level programming language. Strong working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, with experience in Jenkins and Bitbucket. Knowledge of Google Apigee is an added advantage. Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and OpenSearch. Coding or scripting knowledge in at least two of the following: Shell, Perl, Python, PowerShell, Go(Golang).
