E Commerce Manager

Role & responsibilities

The E-commerce Manager will be responsible for driving online sales growth across marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Industry-specific portals). The role requires strong understanding of digital sales, product listing optimisation, marketplace operations, inventory operations, analytics, promotions, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Marketplace Management

• Manage and grow sales on platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, IndiaMART, Justdial, etc.
• Monitor daily orders, returns, cancellations, and fulfilment.
• Create, update & optimise product listings, titles, images, content & keywords.
• Manage inventory on marketplaces; coordinate with warehouse & production for replenishment.
• Monitor product ratings & reviews, ensure high seller rating and customer experience.
  

Sales & Revenue Ownership

• Develop monthly/quarterly sales plans & targets.
• Drive promotional calendars, festive campaigns strategy.
  

Operational Execution

• Coordinate with logistics partners for SLA compliance & cost optimisation.
• Manage returns & claim reimbursements with marketplaces.
• Ensure pricing hygiene & MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) compliance.
  

Customer Experience

• Coordinate customer service for queries, returns & reviews.
• Build feedback loops & improve customer retention & loyalty.
  

Reporting & Analytics

• Prepare weekly/monthly reports: sales, inventory, ads performance, margins.
• Competitor analysis pricing, ads, ranking, content trends.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree (MBA preferred).
• 3+ years experience in e-commerce sales/marketplace management (manufacturing/consumer products preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Panel, Shopify/WooCommerce.
• Knowledge of Amazon, Flipkart promotion tools.
• Strong analytical & Excel skills.
• Experience in inventory, logistics & CRM systems is a plus
