E-commerce Catalog Specialist

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented, fast, and accurate E-commerce Content Associate to manage and maintain product and project data across multiple e-commerce platforms. The role requires strong organizational skills, SEO awareness, and a basic understanding of data migration processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Add, update, and maintain product details such as titles, descriptions, pricing, and images across Shopify, WordPress, Magento, and BigCommerce.
• Perform bulk uploads and data imports/exports.
• Ensure all product information is accurate, consistent, and formatted according to platform requirements.
• Create and maintain product categories, tags, and collections.
• Enter SEO data such as meta titles, meta descriptions, and keywords.
• Optimize product descriptions for search visibility.
• Ensure URL structures and alt texts are SEO-friendly.
• Audit and verify data regularly to identify and correct errors.
• Maintain product databases and ensure data integrity.
• Cross-check data with source documents for accuracy.
• Work closely with the design, marketing, and development teams for content updates.
• Assist with product launches, promotions, and seasonal updates.
• Support data migration projects by preparing and validating data before transfer.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in data entry or e-commerce product management (freshers with skills may apply).
• Proficiency in Shopify, WordPress, Magento, or BigCommerce.
• Strong skills in MS Excel / Google Sheets (data sorting, formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Basic understanding of SEO principles.
• Ability to utilize AI to ease some tasks
• Familiarity with HTML basics for formatting product descriptions.
• Experience in bulk data import/export tools.
• Ability to work accurately with a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks at once.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Experience with product image editing (Photoshop, Canva).
• Understanding of inventory and stock management systems
• Familiarity with CSV data formatting for bulk uploads.
