Job Title: Dy. General Manager - Safety (Projects)

Location: Pan India - at Project site

The Safety Head will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe working environment within the Power/Energy industry. With 18-24 years of experience, the ideal candidate will lead and manage all safety initiatives, compliance, and protocols to mitigate risks and promote a culture of safety within the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local and national regulations.
• Lead safety training programs for employees at all levels to increase awareness and reduce workplace incidents.
• Expertise in project construction and site execution.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents or incidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety practices into daily operations.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in safety management.
• Prepare and present safety reports to senior management and regulatory agencies as required.
• Ensure emergency preparedness and response plans are in place and regularly tested.
• Promote a safety-first culture through effective communication and engagement with employees.

Technical Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards in the Power/Energy industry.
• Experience in developing and implementing safety programs and initiatives.
• Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Familiarity with emergency response planning and crisis management.
