Duty Manager

You will be responsible for setting high standards across cleanliness and productivity as a Duty Manager. Embrace the one team approach to effectively handle guest complaints, queries, and suggestions to ensure a seamless guest experience. Your day-to-day activities will include managing guest experiences, team performance, and hotel operations. Prioritize workloads to deliver authentic and memorable experiences, develop your team's skills for positive impacts on hotel performance, and engage in authentic conversations with guests to resolve issues. You will also be the first point of contact in critical emergency situations. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum Diploma or equivalent, with some college education preferred. A minimum of 2 years in front desk or guest service leadership roles is required, along with fluency in spoken and written English. Proficiency in other languages is a plus, along with basic mathematics skills. Strong communication, problem-solving, reasoning, and motivational skills are essential. Additionally, you should be comfortable with extended periods of standing, occasional heavy lifting, and have a working knowledge of hotel property management systems like Opera.
