Purpose of the Job

Lead the team of Sourcing, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Warehousing and logistics of DTH Business. Responsible for procurement of DTH materials including but not limiting to Devices (STBs), mechanical items like Antennas, Cable, LNBF, Connectors, repair and refurbishment of Set top boxes, end to end closure of DTH contracts, related terms and conditions, monitoring KPIs, partner grievance resolution.

Lead the Supply Planning with all vendors for direct materials and Inventory Management of DTH Business and will be key SPOC of yearly Audits.

Lead the PAN India Warehouses and logistics Operations of DTH business and handle the circle wise demand planning.

Lead for Capex and Opex Spend and WoW initiatives for DTH Business to drive FCF.

Deliverables:-

• Procurement:

• Cost negotiations of DTH Materials like Devices, Antennas, Cable, LNBF, Connectors, MDU etc. Approx 1000 + cr INR Capex Spend
• Handing 300+ Cr Opex, mainly with Satellite operators, AMCs and R&R.
• Reporting Savings
• End to End repair and refurbishment cost closures
• Planning for After sales items required for refurbishment
• Tracking Commodity trends to arrive and bottom up costing
• Contracts sign off
• Handling escalations and partner grievances.

• Planning, Inventory and Warehousing:

• Head the Team of Planning, preparing of Inventory and Stock Dashboards for Management visibility
• Key stakeholder for Partners for Material planning, reordering and Warehouse Operations
• Heading the quarterly and monthly reviews of Warehouse operations with 3PLs.
• Close connect with DTH Circle teams and their heads for understanding distributor level issues and resolving and making sure optimum stock material levels for supporting business needs.
• Monthly inventory reports to business finance as part of reconciliations and compliances
• Supporting CR recovery team in reverse journey of devices for refurbishment and repair.

• DTH supply chain audit, its observation and closure, including but not limited to internal audits, DRI summons, financial and taxations audits.

• Other Operation

• Monthly reporting of Savings
• Preparation of presentation decks for senior management
• Key SPOC for all digitization, automation projects of COE, timely submissions of BRDs, participating in solution designs, UATs etc.
• Part of DTH EC Team and contribute and support business needs in monthly connects.

Demonstrate (Key competencies)

Educational Level

Must have:

Graduate (Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical)

Post Graduate (Preferable in Operations and SCM)

Working Experience

Must have:

SCM experience of 13-16 years and atleast 3-5 years of Team leading.

Preferably to have system knowledge of Oracle tool, hands on experience in handling Audits and compliances
