Dr. Psychiatrist

As a Psychiatry Physician at Mindtel, you will play a crucial role in assessing and treating patients experiencing mental health issues. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, utilizing psychotherapy techniques, prescribing medication when necessary, and providing crisis intervention and stabilization during acute situations. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining accurate patient records, and educating patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options are also key aspects of your role. You will stay updated on the latest research and developments in psychiatry, attend staff meetings and case consultations, and participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about mental health. Additionally, you will provide supervision and training to resident psychiatrists and interns, advocate for patients" needs within the healthcare system, manage follow-up appointments, and evaluate treatment effectiveness. Creating a safe and supportive environment for all patients will be a top priority. To qualify for this position, you must hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree in Psychiatry, possess a current medical license to practice psychiatry in India, and have completed a residency program in Psychiatry. Board certification in Psychiatry is preferred. Demonstrated experience in psychiatric assessment and treatment, knowledge of psychotropic medications, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle stressful patient situations are essential. You should be committed to ongoing professional development, adhere to ethical and legal standards in psychiatric practice, work effectively in a team setting, and demonstrate cultural competence in working with diverse populations. Strong organizational and time management abilities, computer literacy for record-keeping, empathy, and patience towards patients with mental health challenges are also required for this role.,
