Dotnet Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Design, develop, and deploy .NET applications (Web, Desktop, and API-based) using C# and .NET Core.

• Application Architecture: Participate in the design and architecture of new systems, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and secure.

• Code Review and Mentorship: Provide code reviews and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

• Testing and Debugging: Write unit tests and perform debugging to ensure the software is bug-free and of high quality.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other developers, business analysts, and project managers to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business needs.

• Agile Methodology: Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Database Design & Integration: Design and implement SQL-based databases, integrate them with .NET applications, and optimize queries for performance.

• Performance Optimization: Troubleshoot performance issues and implement performance tuning techniques.

• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for application features, codebase, and architecture.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest .NET technologies and best practices, continuously improving coding and development techniques.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development with the .NET framework.

• Programming Languages: Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC/Web API.

• Web Development: Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like React or Angular is a plus.

• Database: Proficient in working with SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, etc.) and ORM tools like Entity Framework.

• Cloud: Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is a plus.

• Version Control: Experience with version control systems such as Git or TFS.

• Development Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum or Kanban teams.

• Testing Frameworks: Knowledge of testing frameworks such as XUnit, NUnit, or MS Test.

• Software Design: Familiarity with design patterns (e.g., MVC, Repository, Factory) and principles such as SOLID.

• Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to fixing issues.

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and clients.

Job Profile:

• Will be a part of a product development team

• Work with testing team to find and resolve defects

UK shift (11.00am to 8.00pm).

• Should work in ISO/CMMi compliant work environments

Mandatory Skills :

• Strong knowledge of .NET framework

• Programming using server-side web-technologies out of which at least 3 yearS of experience with ASP.Net, .Net Core and MVC 2 / MVC 3

• Proficient in C# and SQL Server

• Exposure to Agile development methodologies

• Good understanding of source control systems

• Object Oriented Programming Concepts
