Job Description

Role Description:

Lead and oversee the development of critical applications and systems using .NET Core, Entity Framework, LINQ, and SQL Server.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices are followed.
Develop high-performance, scalable, and secure applications following industry standards.
Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based architectures to enable modular and scalable solutions and set standards for communication, logging, and security.
Ensure high-quality code by conducting thorough code reviews, enforcing standards, and implementing automated testing where applicable.
Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures for SQL Server.
Drive adoption of new tools and methodologies, such as AI-powered coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).

Key Desirables:

Experience in application development with .NET Core, Entity Framework, LINQ, and SQL Server.
Proven experience with microservices architecture, including design, implementation, and optimization.
Proficiency in RESTful API development and integration.
Strong problem-solving skills and expertise in debugging and performance tuning.
Strong experience with Relational Databases (SQL Server) and familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB/Cosmos DB).
Strong understanding of Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and cloud-native services.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and DevOps practices.
Strong understanding of code quality, unit testing, and integration testing.
Experience in Agile methodologies and SCRUM practices.
Good to have experience in EdTech Domain and assessment platforms.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Solid understanding of front-end frameworks, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
Ability to lead and manage a team, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
