Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical documentation expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.You'll play a key role in ensuring the creation and maintenance of high-quality Operation and Maintenance Manuals, which include Maintenance Manuals, Parts Catalogues, Troubleshooting Manuals, Driver Operation Manuals, and more. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including the Project Manager, LSA Manager, and ISR Manager, as well as subcontractors involved in training activities. You’ll also manage documentation-related activities and ensure adherence to Alstom’s standards and processes.You’ll specifically take care of defining and implementing maintenance documentation plans and ensuring the quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) objectives are met, but also manage relationships with key stakeholders and partners involved in authoring activities.We’ll look to you for:
- Creating and updating Operation and Maintenance Manuals
- Defining the maintenance documentation plan
- Ensuring the quality, cost, and delivery of maintenance documentation projects
- Capitalizing data and inputs within the central ISR repository (ILS PDM)
- Implementing processes to deliver high-quality documentation
- Managing the documentation database (ILS PDM) and ensuring accuracy
All About You

- Engineering University Degree or equivalent (mandatory)
- Specialization in Maintenance Documentation (desirable)
- Hands-on experience (8-10 years) with tools such as Arbor Text Editor, Adobe Illustrator, Isodraw, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Frame Maker, and CAD tools
- Experience in working with S1000D standards and simplified technical English
- Knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM) systems
- Experience in the rail domain (preferred)
- Ability to work as both an author and illustrator, as needed
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Proficiency in English; French language skills are an advantage
