You will be joining our team as a Chemical Distributor, where you will play a crucial role in supporting various operational functions such as sales, logistics, procurement, and customer service to ensure seamless distribution of chemicals across our network. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Sales & Customer Support:** - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. - Provide product recommendations and technical support to customers. - Understand customer needs and ensure timely delivery of products. - Negotiate pricing and terms with clients, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction. - **Logistics & Supply Chain Management:** - Coordinate the safe and efficient transport of chemicals, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines. - Manage inventory levels, track shipments, and work with suppliers to maintain an uninterrupted supply chain. - Oversee order processing, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. - **Procurement & Supplier Relations:** - Source chemicals and raw materials from domestic and international suppliers. - Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating pricing, delivery terms, and quality standards. - **Compliance & Safety:** - Ensure all operations comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations. - Monitor and enforce adherence to chemical safety protocols for both employees and customers. - **Reporting & Documentation:** - Maintain detailed records of transactions, customer orders, and inventory. - Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and inventory status for management review. **Qualifications:** - Bachelors degree - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the chemical distribution or related industry. - Strong understanding of chemical products, industry regulations, and supply chain processes. - Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with attention to detail. - Knowledge of safety and environmental standards governing chemical handling and transportation. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word); familiarity with ERP systems is a plus. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. **Preferred Skills:** - Experience in business development or sales within the chemical or industrial sectors. - Familiarity with international trade regulations and import/export processes. - Knowledge of inventory management and logistics. - Fluency in a second language is a plus.
