Distributor

You will be joining our team as a Chemical Distributor, where your primary focus will be on supporting various operational functions including sales, logistics, procurement, and customer service to facilitate the seamless distribution of chemicals within our network. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, providing product recommendations and technical support, ensuring timely delivery of products, negotiating pricing and terms for profitability and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will be coordinating the safe transport of chemicals, managing inventory levels, tracking shipments, overseeing order processing, and maintaining uninterrupted supply chain operations. In terms of procurement, you will be responsible for sourcing chemicals and raw materials from both domestic and international suppliers, developing and maintaining supplier relationships, negotiating pricing, delivery terms, and quality standards. You will also need to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, monitor and enforce chemical safety protocols, and maintain detailed records of transactions, customer orders, and inventory. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree, at least 2-3 years of experience in the chemical distribution or related industry, a strong understanding of chemical products, industry regulations, and supply chain processes, excellent communication and negotiation skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail, knowledge of safety and environmental standards in chemical handling, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred skills include experience in business development or sales within the chemical or industrial sectors, familiarity with international trade regulations and import/export processes, knowledge of inventory management and logistics, and fluency in a second language.
