Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Dispatcher based in Chandigarh, with some flexibility for remote work. The Dispatcher will be responsible for managing the efficient scheduling and routing of drivers, monitoring shipment statuses, coordinating with clients and teams, and resolving any transportation or delivery issues. Additional tasks include managing communication with drivers, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate records to optimize transportation operations.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle scheduling and routing effectively.
• Proficiency in communication skills, including collaborating with drivers, teams, and clients to resolve issues and ensure smooth transport operations.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation and records related to transportation and shipments.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address and resolve delivery or logistical challenges promptly.
• Working knowledge of logistics management software and relevant technologies is a plus.
• Flexibility to adapt to a hybrid work environment and manage time effectively between remote and in-office responsibilities.
• Prior experience in dispatch or transportation/logistics coordination is preferred but not mandatory.
