Director - Technology and Platform

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their current architecture, technology requirements, constraints and business objectives
• Lead the data platform build and system architectural discussions in the full delivery lifecycle from early shaping of high-level estimates for pre-sales to final delivery plans
• Manage and deliver enterprise architecture solutions for Financial Services clients and define the target architecture building blocks across channels, digital enablers, applications, integration, cloud, infrastructure, data, microservices, and security
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders at clients (Technology vertical), helping to modernize and simplify the technology landscape through the promotion of innovative, digital solutions. Also apply the same principles for Sirius AI’s internal platform and architecture
• Assessment of security findings, vulnerabilities, and control gaps/deviations identified on applications and infrastructure.
• Being logical and analytical in defining approach for requirements, system analysis, system risk, performance tuning, defining improvements in platform/tools, application usability, system / process automation and software security
• Manage governance and problem-solving for platform and technology during build and deployment
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Job Requirements:

• 10+ years of relevant experience on designing and architecting Data platforms, administering cloud platforms and deployment or related roles
• 5+ years of relevant experience with designing the Azure Cloud solutions and data/analytics projects as a Principal/Lead architect
• Experience in working with clients to develop and implement technology strategies and architecture that aligns with the business objectives during pre-sales and delivery of engagements
• Extensive knowledge of Azure Services or AWS services and models including Storage, Compute, Function Apps, Networking, Cloud Databases, DevOps, AD, Azure Monitor, AKS, Security, Firewalls etc.
• Experience in cloud deployments, analytical tools, SQL and NOSQL databases, testing tools, reporting tools and various other SaaS tools integrations such as CRM tools Good exposure to AI, experience in building AI based solutions, design patterns, approaches and architecture. Understanding of subscription based, custom hosting and self-hosting options for LLM and the different use cases scenarios around them.
• Expertise in CI/CD systems like Azure DevOps & other DevOps tools
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and especially the Technology vertical and Data/AI/Platform teams
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Excellent team leader with problem-solving and trouble-shooting capabilities.
• Preferrable to have experience of having worked in consulting services company
• Preferable to have experience in leading proactive technology driven programs intended for proof of concepts, innovation, and solution assets development.
