Director – Performance Marketing

🔑 Key Responsibilities


1️⃣ Strategy & Planning

  • Own performance marketing strategy across

    Google, Meta, YouTube, programmatic, affiliates & emerging channels

  • Lead quarterly growth planning and budget allocation across Online, Offline & PrepLadder
  • Define and optimize core KPIs -

    CAC, LTV, ROAS, Conversion Rates


2️⃣ Execution & Optimization

  • Drive end-to-end campaign execution: audience strategy, creative testing, bidding & pacing
  • Run rapid A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Optimize funnel performance across

    lead → conversion → retention


3️⃣ Analytics & Insights

  • Build dashboards and run deep-dive analytics for performance, revenue & efficiency
  • Implement multi-touch attribution
  • Translate data into actionable insights for product, sales & leadership


4️⃣ Team Leadership

  • Lead media buyers, analysts & channel managers
  • Build a culture of

    ownership, speed & data-first decision-making

  • Manage agency partnerships and ensure execution excellence


5️⃣ Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with

    Product, Growth, Analytics, Creative, Sales & Offline Centres

  • Align campaigns with product launches, promotions & category priorities
  • Influence product and funnel improvements through performance insights


🎯 Experience & Qualifications (Must-Have)

  • 6+ years in performance marketing/growth with 2–3 years in leadership roles
  • Deep experience with

    Google, Meta, YouTube, Programmatic

  • Proven track record of meeting

    CAC/ROAS

    targets in B2C or subscription-led businesses (EdTech preferred)
  • Strong analytical mindset with expertise in

    attribution, budgeting & funnel optimization

  • Experience managing teams, agencies & multi-crore monthly budgets
  • Ability to operate in a

    fast-paced, high-ownership

    environment


✨ Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in

    EdTech, Test-Prep, or Omnichannel (Online + Offline)

  • Knowledge of MarTech, CRM, automation & retention journeys
  • Understanding of offline conversion funnels (walk-ins, leads, counselling)
