Job Description

Directs, leads, and manages the Pune Technology team engaged with multiple business verticals
Lead and oversee the site s software and firmware development teams, encouraging a culture of innovation and delivery
Build and mentor a high-performance team of AI/ML professionals in alignment with Organization long-term plans
Interact with Technology Leadership across Emerson to develop short term and long-term strategic plan.
Contribute to the increase in the department s value delivery through a combination of processes, personnel, and automation that drives improved productivity in the development of our products
Participate in the definition of technical vision, strategy and roadmap, then implement them
Ensure high performance and accountability through leading a multi-functional team comprising software development managers and ART leadership
Cultivate an innovative environment that encourages openness, collaboration and professional growth
Work with other department leaders to optimize team and cross-site performance
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and define outstanding processes
Stay knowledgeable about tools, methods, relevant trends and technologies for software and firmware development
Attract, develop and retain qualified and skilled staff and workforce. Mentor, coach, appraise employees and build a strong leadership team
