Job Description

Role Overview: As the Director Sales at SolarSquare, you will have the direct responsibility of building a "world-class customer-centric sales" organization. Drawing inspiration from renowned companies like Zappos, Swiggy, and Amex, SolarSquare aims to create a robust sales engine that ensures a consistent and delightful customer experience for its rooftop solar solutions. Your role will be pivotal in re-imagining home energy and striving to establish SolarSquare as India's leading new-age solar brand. Your leadership will be essential in scaling sales operations in this high-growth environment. Key Responsibilities: - Own the Sales architecture for SolarSquare, encompassing strategic planning, organizational design, SOPs, process-tech, and team culture. - Develop and execute a scalable sales process from prospecting to contract execution, managing a P&L effectively. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding and implementation for new customers. - Lead the design and implementation of sales strategies to achieve or surpass growth, retention, and revenue targets. - Head residential sales at SolarSquare, managing the overall cost structure and sales budgets. - Establish and track key metrics related to user acquisition, conversion rates, engagement rates, and satisfaction levels. - Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a creative and collaborative work environment. - Act as a mentor to the team, guiding them in problem-solving, decision-making, and planning activities. - Demonstrate accountability by completing projects on time and holding oneself and others to high standards. - Drive the hiring strategy, training programs, and performance management frameworks to facilitate the growth and development of the sales team. Qualifications Required: - Graduate/post-graduate/MBA from tier-1 colleges (Preferably SP Jain, NMIMS, IIM, ISB graduates). - Previous experience in sales roles within corporates or start-ups. - Location: Nagpur. - Proven experience in leading sales teams and implementing strategic initiatives. - Preference for experience in a fast-growth start-up environment, particularly in consumer-facing startups. - Strong strategic and tactical thinking abilities to drive organizational growth effectively. - Ability to thrive in a high-growth environment, adapting and pivoting as needed to achieve objectives.,
