Job Description

Role Overview: As the strategic financial business leader of the property, you will champion, develop, and implement property-wide strategies to meet the needs and expectations of the brand's target customers and property employees. Your financial expertise will enable the successful implementation of brand service strategy and initiatives, maximizing return on investment. You will be responsible for creating and executing a business plan aligned with the property and brand's strategy, focusing on financial activities and delivering desirable financial results. Key Responsibilities: - Develop means to improve profit, estimate costs and benefits, explore new business opportunities, etc. - Analyze information, forecast sales against expenses, and create annual budget plans. - Compile information, analyze and monitor actual sales against projected sales. - Identify cost-saving and productivity opportunities during budget reviews. - Implement appropriate controls to manage business risks and safeguard assets. - Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive annual business plan. - Provide ongoing analytical support by monitoring actual and projected sales. - Lead finance teams by demonstrating sound financial decision-making, honesty, integrity, and clear communication. - Communicate strategic goals and priorities clearly to subordinates and the executive team. - Anticipate and meet the needs of key stakeholders, including owners, corporate, and guests. - Manage property working capital and cash flow in accordance with brand standards. - Ensure profits and losses are accurately documented and monitor all applicable taxes. - Develop and support achievement of performance goals, budget goals, and team goals. - Generate accurate and timely results in reports and presentations. - Reconcile balance sheets, ensure compliance with management contracts and operating procedures. - Manage human resource activities by ensuring fair administration of policies, conducting performance reviews, and participating in hiring activities. Qualifications Required: - A 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major with 3 years of experience OR a Master's degree in Finance and Accounting with 1 year of experience in a related professional area.
