Director- FP&A

As the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) at Simplilearn, you will play a crucial role in driving financial strategy, providing essential insights, and ensuring sound financial management. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide strategic financial leadership and partner with the CFO/CXO in shaping the financial direction of the company. - Oversee the preparation of internal and external financial reports, focusing on Vertical, Geography, and business profitability. - Collaborate with business leaders to review key cost items, formulate strategies, and metrics to enhance profitability. - Engage with business units on growth plans and cost optimization initiatives. - Develop short-term and long-term plans, including Board of Directors materials and monthly financial analysis reports. - Lead month-end and quarter-end P&L distribution and forecast consolidation for various departments. - Collaborate with key stakeholders to extract meaningful insights from financial data. - Provide value-added analysis and decision support for special projects and initiatives. - Drive continuous process improvement in financial planning and analysis to enhance efficiency and accuracy. - Assist in developing finance and business presentations to effectively communicate financial information. **Qualifications Required:** - MBA/CA with 10+ years of progressive experience in Business finance roles, preferably in the Edutech or IT/ITES industry. - Demonstrated success in Business partnering, financial modeling, and analysis. - Experience in financial planning and analysis functions, including annual budgeting, capital budgeting, long-term strategic planning, and resource allocation processes. - Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles. - Ability to make confident, fact-based decisions and solve complex problems. - Adept at using logic and reasoning to analyze information. - Team player with the ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders and other finance verticals.,
