Field Finance Delivery

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee McDonald's Lease Accounting operations, ensuring meticulous accuracy and strict compliance in lease classification, income recognition, and expense accounting processes
• Act as Global Process Owner for Lease Accounting, driving process standardization by managing, maintaining, and documenting the end-to-end process and monitoring its effectiveness
• Oversee support to Market Finance Teams in preparing franchisee business reviews and conducting franchisee financial health assessments
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial data and analysis to enable informed decision-making across markets
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancement within Lease Accounting and Field Finance Services
• Champion a unified McDonald’s approach by leveraging enterprise reporting capabilities and technologies, ensuring consistency across markets without introducing local reporting variations
• Lead a team of three direct reports, fostering a collaborative, high-performing work environment and providing strategic direction across Market Finance, Lease Accounting, and Technical Accounting

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, or local equivalent) preferred
• Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in lease accounting, financial reporting, or related functions
• English Proficiency (written and verbal IRL Level 4)
• Experience in providing data-driven and financial analysis
• Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service and support to stakeholders
• Experience managing a team and providing coaching and guidance to execute work
• Experience in performance monitoring and driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Experience in providing data-driven and financial analysis
• Proven experience managing third-party providers in a global finance operations context
• Experience working in a matrixed, multinational organization
