Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Event Management in Chandigarh University. The Director of Event Management will be responsible for event planning, budgeting, event management, communication, and sales.

Budgeting skills
Strong Communication and Sales skills
Experience in coordinating and executing large-scale events
Leadership and team management skills
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field

Responsibilities

Supervise event coordinators, planners, and support staff, ensuring all team members are aligned with event goals.
Track event-related expenses, negotiate contracts with vendors, and ensure cost-effective decision-making.
Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, setup, registration, and technical requirements.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop event promotion strategies.
Ensure that all event-related communications, including invitations, emails, and social media posts, are aligned with the event’s branding and objectives.
Analyze feedback from attendees, vendors, and team members to identify areas for improvement.
Prepare post-event reports, including financial analysis, attendance metrics, and lessons learned.
Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the event industry.
