Career Development Cell (CDC)

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

• Develop and implement long-term strategies for placements, internships, and career development.
• Set performance benchmarks and drive continuous improvement in employability outcomes.
• Strengthen the institution’s industry visibility and placement ecosystem.

2. Industry Engagement & Partnerships

• Build strong alliances with corporates, startups, government bodies, and industry associations.
• Lead MoUs and collaborations for internships, placements, live projects, and joint programs.
• Represent the institution in industry events, conclaves, and job fairs.

3. Placement Operations

• Oversee end-to-end campus recruitment processes.
• Plan and execute placement drives, internship programs, and pre-placement activities.
• Track, analyze, and report placement statistics as per compliance norms.

4. Training & Student Development

• Design and execute training modules on communication, soft skills, aptitude, and technical skills.
• Collaborate with academic departments to embed employability skills into the curriculum.
• Implement mentorship programs, mock interviews, and competency assessments.

5. Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a multidisciplinary placement & training team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master’s degree (MBA / Education / related field preferred).

• 15+ years of experience

  in Training & Placement, Career Services, or Corporate Relations.

• 5+ years in a leadership capacity

  with proven placement success.
• Strong industry network and relationship-building abilities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• CTC: Up to ₹20 LPA
