Whizz HR is on a look for a Senior Account Director / Director Brand Strategy to work with a leading digital media agency in Mumbai!

Job Summary

The Senior Account Director / Director Brand Strategy leads key client accounts, drives strategic direction, and ensures high-quality delivery across all campaigns. They act as the main liaison between clients and internal teams, guiding account managers/executives while growing business opportunities and maintaining client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Client Leadership & Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for senior-level clients.
• Build strong, long-term partnerships with clients and understand their business goals deeply.
• Lead strategic discussions, present proposals, and manage client expectations.
• Resolve issues proactively to ensure seamless service.

Strategy & Planning

• Develop integrated marketing and communication strategies across digital, ATL, BTL, and experiential.
• Oversee campaign planning, creative direction, media mix recommendations, and content strategy.
• Ensure all work aligns with client objectives and agency standards.

Team Management & Collaboration

• Lead and mentor a team of Account Managers, Executives, and Coordinators.
• Collaborate closely with Creative, Strategy, Media, and Production teams.
• Review and guide work across all stages — briefing, execution, and delivery.

Project & Campaign Oversight

• Oversee timelines, budgets, scopes, and overall project delivery quality.
• Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and share insights with clients.
• Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and process efficiency.

Business Growth & Revenue

• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
• Contribute to new business pitches, proposals, and strategic presentations.
• Track account profitability and ensure financial targets are met.

Quality Control

• Review all creative and communication materials before client submission.
• Ensure brand consistency and adherence to guidelines.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
• 8–12+ years of experience in Account Management within an advertising/creative agency.
• Strong understanding of digital, social media, and integrated marketing.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with regional or global brands (preferred).
