Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and analytical Social Media Manager to lead MCC’s social media strategies — for both our in-house brand and client accounts. You will be responsible for planning, curating, executing, and optimizing content across multiple platforms, ensuring that every post reflects brand values, engages the audience, and drives business goals.

You will collaborate with designers, writers, video editors, and strategists to deliver high-quality digital content and grow our online community.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

• Develop platform-specific social media strategies for MCC and client brands (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, etc.)
• Plan monthly content calendars aligned with brand tone, campaign goals, and industry trends
• Set measurable objectives (reach, engagement, growth, leads) and track performance regularly

Content Creation & Management

• Ideate and write creative copy for posts, reels, stories, carousels, and paid promotions
• Coordinate with design and video teams to create engaging visual content
• Ensure brand consistency, timely posting, and active community management

Community & Engagement

• Monitor comments, messages, and DMs — respond in brand voice
• Engage with followers, influencers, and communities to grow reach organically
• Monitor competitor activity and trends to adapt strategy

Analytics & Reporting

• Use platform insights and tools (Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, etc.) to measure campaign effectiveness
• Generate monthly performance reports and suggest improvements
• Optimize content and posting times based on audience behavior and KPIs

Campaign & Collaboration

• Coordinate social media campaigns around brand launches, events, and ad campaigns
• Work closely with content writers, ad managers, and branding teams to ensure social media aligns with broader marketing efforts

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related fields
• 3–6 years of proven experience in managing brand social media accounts
• Strong copywriting skills in English (Malayalam proficiency is a plus)
• Excellent knowledge of major social platforms and trends
• Familiarity with Canva, Meta Ads Manager, Instagram Insights, and scheduling tools (Later, Buffer, etc.)
• Experience working with design and video teams to execute content
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data
• Excellent time management, attention to detail, and creativity

• Experience handling multiple brand accounts or agency background
• Familiarity with influencer marketing and paid ad campaigns
• Ability to work with AI-based content creation tools (optional but valued)
• Exposure to SEO and website content planning

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
