Digital Asset Management (DAM)-Nuxeo Developer Intern
Location:India (Hybrid)About the Role:
We are looking for a smart, motivated intern or early-career developer who is excited to work on a modern Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform built on Nuxeo.You do not need prior Nuxeo experience — but you must have strong aptitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently with guidance from a Product Manager or Business Analyst. You will receive support from senior architects and DevOps engineers when needed.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build real-world product experience and take end-to-end ownership of a critical platform.RequirementsWhat You Will Work On:
Content & Asset Management:
• Help configure a centralized DAM repository supporting multiple file types (documents, images, videos, etc.)• Work on metadata tagging, search filters, version control, and asset lifecycle managementWorkflow Automation:
• Assist in designing approval workflows for content publishing• Implement notifications, expiration logic, and editorial processesCompliance & Security:
• Help implement audit trails, access control, and retention policies• Learn how DAM systems support regulatory compliance (e.g., FCA, GDPR)Automation & Integration:
• Support integrations with legacy systems and APIs• Assist with performance optimization, logs, and basic troubleshootingWhat We Are Looking For:
Must Have:
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude• Basic programming experience (Java, Python, or JavaScript preferred)• Understanding of REST APIs• Ability to learn new platforms quickly• Strong communication and documentation skills• Self-driven and able to work independently in a remote setupNice to Have (Not Required but a Bonus):
• Any exposure to Nuxeo, Alfresco, Drupal, Adobe AEM, or similar CMS/DAM platforms• Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JavaScript• Awareness of GDPR or content compliance regulations• Experience with Git, cloud platforms, or modern dev toolsWhat You Will Gain:
