Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):
1. Security Management
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and protocols.
- Ensure 24/7 safety of employees, assets, and premises.
- Supervise security personnel and monitor surveillance systems.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies for incident handling and emergency response.
- Maintain knowledge and application of relevant provisions under
IPC
and CrPC
for handling theft, trespassing, assault, and other criminal matters.
2. Legal Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with statutory laws related to security and administration.
- Apply relevant sections of
IPC
and CrPC
during internal investigations, FIR filing, and legal coordination. - Maintain liaison with police and legal authorities for cases involving criminal or civil liabilities.
- Ensure adherence to
Motor Vehicles Act
provisions for company transport operations, including licensing, insurance, and traffic safety norms.
3. Facility Infrastructure Management
- Oversee maintenance of office buildings, utilities, and common areas.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and fire safety standards.
- Manage housekeeping and sanitation services.
4. Transport Travel Management
- Supervise company transport operations and ensure vehicle compliance with the
Motor Vehicles Act
. - Monitor driver conduct, vehicle documentation, and route safety.
- Coordinate travel logistics for employees and guests.
5. Vendor Contract Management
- Identify and manage vendors for security, housekeeping, transport, and other services.
- Negotiate contracts and monitor service delivery and SLAs.
- Ensure vendor compliance with legal and safety norms.
6. Crisis Emergency Response
- Develop and implement emergency response plans including evacuation, fire drills, and lockdown procedures.
- Lead crisis management efforts during incidents such as theft, fire, or violence.
- Ensure documentation and reporting of incidents in line with legal protocols.
7. Budgeting Cost Control
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets.
- Monitor expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
8. Team Leadership Development
- Lead and mentor the security and administration team.
- Conduct training on security awareness, legal compliance, and emergency response.
- Foster a culture of discipline, vigilance, and service excellence.
Knowledge Requirements:
- Working knowledge of
Indian Penal Code (IPC)
especially sections related to property offences, bodily harm, and trespassing. - Understanding of
Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC)
for handling complaints, FIRs, and coordination with police. - Familiarity with
Motor Vehicles Act
for transport compliance, driver conduct, and vehicle safety. - Awareness of labor laws, fire safety norms, and building codes
Qualification
Any Graduate
Experience
15 to 20 Years of Experience in Manufacturing setup having 2000+ Manpower.
Preferably Ex Armed Forces who has served as Commanding position i.e. Captain, Major, Lt. colonel in Army or Equivalent in Air force Navy
