DevOps Lead

As a DevOps Team Lead, your role involves leading the team to ensure better coordination among operations, development, and testing functions through automation and streamlining of integration and deployment processes. Key Responsibilities: - Drive technical solution support for aligning continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) of technology in applications. - Design and define the overall DevOps architecture/framework for project/module delivery as per client requirements. - Decide on the DevOps tools & platform aligned with customer requirements. - Create a tool deployment model for validating, testing, and monitoring performance. - Manage IT infrastructure as per software code requirements. - Manage and drive the DevOps pipeline across the toolchain for planning, coding, testing, release, configuration, and monitoring. - Tackle coding and scripting to connect code elements required for software release with minimal disruptions. - Ensure application configuration from planning to release stage. - Integrate security in the entire DevOps lifecycle to maintain data privacy and avoid cyber risks. - Provide customer support/service on DevOps tools. - Troubleshoot problems in DevOps tools implementation and perform root cause analysis. - Develop alternate solutions based on root cause analysis of critical problems. - Provide knowledge transfer, share best practices, and motivate the team. Team Management: - Forecast talent requirements and hire adequate resources for the team. - Train direct reportees for recruitment and selection decisions. - Ensure compliance with onboarding and training standards. - Develop an internal talent pool and promote diversity in leadership positions. - Set goals, conduct performance reviews, and provide feedback to direct reports. - Take necessary action on performance issues with zero tolerance for performance-related issues. - Drive engagement initiatives, track team satisfaction scores, and challenge the team with enriching projects. - Exercise employee recognition and appreciation.
