DevOps Engineer – Web3, Blockchain, Metaverse & Gaming

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with a passion for Web3, Blockchain, Metaverse, and Gaming technologies. In this role, you will manage the infrastructure that supports decentralized applications, blockchain networks, immersive virtual worlds, and real-time multiplayer environments. Your expertise will be crucial in building scalable, reliable, and secure systems to support our blockchain-based platforms, virtual economies, and cutting-edge gaming experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) to support Web3, blockchain, and gaming applications.

Blockchain Deployment & Management: Manage the deployment and maintenance of blockchain networks, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps).

CI/CD Pipelines: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that enable rapid development and deployment of Web3, blockchain, and gaming services (e.g., smart contract updates, game patches, and real-time updates).

Containerization & Orchestration: Use Docker, Kubernetes, and similar tools to containerize applications and services, ensuring that the development and deployment process is smooth and scalable.

Real-time Infrastructure: Optimize infrastructure for low-latency, high-performance real-time interactions such as multiplayer games, VR experiences, and blockchain transactions.

Security & Compliance: Implement robust security practices for decentralized applications and blockchain networks, ensuring user data privacy, smart contract security, and regulatory compliance.

Monitoring & Logging: Set up and manage monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK stack) to ensure system health, performance, and uptime.

Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with blockchain developers, game developers, and virtual world architects to optimize the integration of DevOps practices within the Web3 and Metaverse environments.

Support for Decentralized Identity and Web3 Integration: Ensure smooth integration and scaling of decentralized identity protocols, crypto wallets, and other Web3 technologies.

Deploy Virtual Worlds: Support the deployment and scaling of virtual worlds, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance for end-users in the Metaverse.

Required Skills & Experience:

3+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering role.

Hands-on experience with blockchain technologies, such as Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polkadot, or similar platforms.

Strong knowledge of Web3 principles including decentralized applications (dApps), smart contracts, and decentralized storage solutions (IPFS, Arweave).

Cloud Infrastructure Expertise: Proficient in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), including knowledge of cloud-native services for container orchestration, networking, and security.

Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions) and version control (e.g., Git).

Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes.

Familiarity with game development frameworks (Unity, Unreal Engine) or tools used in virtual worlds and immersive environments.

Experience with real-time systems (e.g., multiplayer gaming, low-latency blockchain transactions).

Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.

Strong understanding of security best practices for decentralized applications and smart contract auditing.

Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK Stack.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with NFTs, DeFi platforms, or Metaverse projects.

Familiarity with Web3 wallets (e.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect) and decentralized identity solutions.

Knowledge of blockchain consensus mechanisms, transaction validation, and scaling solutions like Layer 2 (e.g., Polygon, Optimism).

Experience in gaming infrastructure or game server management.

Certification in cloud platforms (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, etc.).

Exposure to Blockchain development frameworks (e.g., Solidity, Rust, Substrate).

Pay: ₹412,817.42 - ₹1,750,946.35 per year
