F9S-IT-0923101We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to become part of our IT team, the ideal candidate should have good knowledge of IT operations and software development. The role will include tasks such as coding, infrastructure management, system administration and DevOps toolchains so having prior experience in these will be mandatory.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Build, test and manage infrastructure and
- Develop software’s according to the business’s requirements
- Test and update software’s when required
- Analyse data to improve existing software
- Assess and improve current systems
- Test and examine coding

Essential
Relevant skills and experience:
- Configuration Management
- Previous computer programming experience
- The ability to solve technical problems
- The ability to meet business deadlines
- Manage excessive workload
- Experience in managing infrastructure and tools
- Experience in testing software according to requirements
- The ability to plan projects and be involved in project management decisions.
Desirable
- Working with developers and other IT colleagues to oversee code releases
- The ability to test and examine codes written by others and analysing results
- Optimise codes for server output
Essential
Relevant qualifications:
- 2-3 years’ experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Prior experience in developing software’s which meets business requirements
- Previous computer programming experience
- Use of DevOps tools such as Git, Jira
- Degree in the relevant subjects
- Certification in the relevant subjects
Desirable
- SonarQube: Automated code review tool
- Gradle: Multi-language build automation tool
- Apache SVN
