Job Description

Job Summary:

DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure CI/CD pipelines.
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Monitor application and system performance using observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth deployment of software releases.
Implement security best practices and ensure system reliability and high availability.
Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call rotations.
Maintain and enhance infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Proficiency with scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.).
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
Solid understanding of networking, Linux/Unix systems, and security principles.
Familiarity with GitOps practices and version control systems like Git.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.).
Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus, ELK, Datadog).
Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.
Exposure to serverless architecture and microservices.
