About the Role

QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Deploy and test IBI WebFOCUS applications in
Kubernetes
and
OpenShift
clusters.
Develop, maintain, and execute
manual and automated test cases
for functional, regression, and integration testing.
Create and maintain
shell scripts and automation tools
to streamline QA workflows.
Collaborate with DevOps, Developers, and Product teams to troubleshoot container-related issues.
Assist in
CI/CD pipeline integration
and automation of QA processes.
Document
test plans, execution reports, and QA metrics
for transparency and audit readiness.
Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of QA experience, including work in
containerized environments
.
Strong hands-on experience with
Docker
,
Kubernetes
, and
OpenShift
(deployment, scaling, debugging).
Familiarity with
Helm, helmfile, kubectl, oc, Jenkins, and Git
.
Solid background in
Linux systems
, including networking and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in
Shell scripting (Bash or similar)
.
Strong understanding of
QA methodologies, tools, and processes
.
Proven ability to design and maintain
test cases
(manual + automation).
Basic exposure to cloud platforms like
AWS
or
GCP
.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience testing or working with
IBI WebFOCUS
applications.
Familiarity with
CI/CD tools, logging, and monitoring frameworks
.
Exposure to
performance and security testing tools
.
