Key Responsibilities:

• DaaS Management:

  • Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of DaaS solutions.
  • Ensure the DaaS infrastructure is reliable, secure, and optimized for performance.
  • Monitor virtual desktop environments and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime and ensure timely resolution.

• Technical Support:

  • Provide expert-level support for DaaS solutions to end-users and IT staff.
  • Diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues related to virtual desktops.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers for advanced troubleshooting and repairs.

• System Optimization:

  • Analyze DaaS performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for DaaS processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in DaaS technology and recommend upgrades or changes as necessary.

• Security and Compliance:

  • Ensure DaaS solutions comply with organizational security policies and industry standards.
  • Implement and manage access controls and user permissions for virtual desktops.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate security risks.

• Project Management:

  • Lead and participate in DaaS-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide training and guidance to IT staff and end-users on DaaS best practices.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  • Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing and supporting DaaS solutions.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing and optimizing virtual desktop infrastructure.

• Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of DaaS solutions and their integration with various IT systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in DaaS or related virtual desktop technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with network and security protocols related to virtual desktops.
