Desktop Support Executive

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ensure all PCs and laptops are updated with required security patches and updates

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to hardware and software

• Provide end-user support for desktops and laptops

• Set up, configure, and deploy new laptops and desktop systems

• Install and maintain company-authorized software on laptops and desktops

• Perform fault diagnosis and repairs for desktop and laptop systems

• Manage and complete internal user moves and system relocations

• Provide technical support for both Windows PCs and macOS systems

• Assist users during video conferences (VCs) and presentations

• Support small to medium-sized IT projects as directed by the IT Manager (e.g., PC refresh activities, OS upgrades, software upgrades)

• Provide support for printers, scanners, and other peripherals

• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, PRI, SIP, and basic AV systems

• Carry out additional IT-related tasks as assigned by the IT Manager

Skills Required (Knowledge & Skills):

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems

• Basic understanding of computer networking concepts (LAN/WAN, PRI, SIP)

• Experience with printer, scanner, and peripheral support

• Ability to support basic AV systems

• Familiarity with both Mac and PC environments

• Knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware
