Job Description

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing onsite and remote assistance for desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices. Your duties will involve troubleshooting hardware and software issues, as well as resolving technical problems efficiently. Additionally, you will be tasked with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems, including Windows environments. In terms of system maintenance, you will play a crucial role in installing and updating operating systems, software, and security patches. Regular system upgrades and ensuring workstation security will be part of your routine tasks. Managing and maintaining antivirus and endpoint security solutions will also fall under your responsibilities. Hardware and software management will be another key aspect of your role. This will include setting up and configuring new workstations, laptops, and printers, as well as handling hardware repairs, replacements, and upgrades. Maintaining an inventory of IT assets and tracking hardware/software licenses will be essential to ensure organizational compliance. You will also be involved in network support activities, assisting in the maintenance of LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi connectivity. Supporting VPN and remote access solutions, as well as collaborating with network administrators to troubleshoot network issues, will be part of your responsibilities. Documentation and reporting are integral parts of this role. You will be required to maintain technical documentation, create user guides, and conduct training sessions for employees on IT policies and best practices. Generating regular reports on technical support activities and asset management will also be expected. This position offers job types such as full-time, part-time, and permanent, with expected working hours ranging from 46 to 55 per week. The work schedule includes day shift, fixed shift, morning shift, night shift, and rotational shift options, with workdays scheduled from Monday to Friday. The work location is in person, providing hands-on technical support to ensure seamless operations within the organization.,
