Desktop Engineer

As a Computer Network and Hardware Specialist at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our computer systems, network infrastructure, and related hardware. Your responsibilities will include installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer hardware and network systems, providing technical support to users, and ensuring network reliability. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring network performance, performing system backups, and maintaining inventory of hardware components. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and network systems - Diagnose and resolve hardware and networking issues - Set up workstations, printers, routers, and other peripherals - Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity problems - Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures - Maintain inventory of hardware components and IT equipment - Provide support and basic training to users as needed - Follow company policies and IT security procedures - Collaborate with other IT staff for system improvements and troubleshooting Qualifications Required: - Graduate or diploma holder in Computer Science, IT, or a related field - Basic understanding of computer hardware, network systems, and troubleshooting - Familiarity with LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, and system configuration - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team - Basic English proficiency (verbal and written) - Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Why Join Us At our company, you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
