Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Engineer to join our team at Galaxy Office Automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in desktop engineering and be able to provide top-notch support to our clients.

Roles and Responsibility

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, and other computer systems.
Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software applications.
Provide training and support to end-users on desktop-related technologies.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of desktop systems with other office automation tools.
Develop and implement procedures for desktop maintenance, backups, and disaster recovery.
Conduct regular audits of desktop systems to identify potential security vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Experience with desktop hardware troubleshooting and repair.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical staff.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
Familiarity with office automation tools and technologies is an added advantage.
