Desktop Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Desktop Engineer to manage and support end-user computing environments. The role involves troubleshooting hardware/software issues, maintaining system performance, and ensuring seamless IT support across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
• Provide L1/L2 support for Windows/macOS systems and applications
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and profiles via Active Directory
• Perform system updates, patching, and antivirus deployments
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
• Respond to helpdesk tickets and resolve issues within SLA timelines
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements
• Assist in onboarding/offboarding of employees with IT setup

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk roles
• Proficiency in Windows 10/11, macOS, MS Office, and basic networking
• Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
