Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Requirement Designer with hands-on experience in SolidWorks for Die and Mould Design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and managing precise 3D models and technical drawings for dies and moulds used in manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop dies and moulds for metal stamping, plastic injection, or other forming processes using SolidWorks.
• Interpret and analyze client requirements, technical specifications, and product blueprints to create accurate designs.
• Create 2D/3D CAD models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Collaborate with the production, machining, and tooling teams to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct design reviews, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
• Modify existing designs to improve performance, efficiency, or manufacturability.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Assist in troubleshooting design or production issues related to tooling or mould performance.
• Maintain proper documentation and file management for all design projects.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in die and mould design.
• Proficient in SolidWorks (3D Modeling, Assembly, Drafting, Simulation is a plus).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, and material properties.
• Knowledge of GD&T, DFM/DFA, and engineering drawing standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and client requirements.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with CAM software or CNC knowledge is an added advantage.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):

• Experience with mould flow analysis tools (e.g., Moldex3D, Autodesk Moldflow).
• Understanding of plastic injection moulding or sheet metal stamping processes.
• Experience in reverse engineering or working with 3D scanning data.
