Job Description

Job Title : Mechanical Design Engineer Experience : 1–2 Years Qualification : B.E. in Mechanical Engineering Location : Bangalore Department : Design Key Responsibilities : Create and maintain 3D and 2D models , assemblies, and fabrication drawings using CAD tools like CATIA V5 R20 and AutoCAD . Collaborate with the engineering team to conceptualize and finalize mechanical design solutions. Lead and support functional testing of design components and assemblies. Ensure design accuracy and quality , conducting checks for errors, defects, and compliance with standards. Participate actively in lean manufacturing activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives . Ensure adherence to departmental standards, policies, and procedures . Support various projects assigned by management, including: Installation and commissioning of special-purpose machinery Vendor development Other engineering and development tasks as required Possess basic understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and risk mitigation practices . Monitor and manage project allocation, delegation, and execution to meet deadlines and technical requirements. Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and clients to review, finalize, or modify designs as per feedback. Work closely with product development, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth project execution.
