Design Engineer

As a R&D Engineer for supply chain solution products like Conveyors, Sorters, Storage, Mobile Automation you will work as individual contributor in the design, development, and implementation of new products and services. You will be part of a team of engineers, technical leads, and other professionals dedicated to innovation, quality improvement, and solving complex technical challenges. Your role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet high standards of quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, Develop and implement R&D initiatives.
• Execute R&D projects from concept to commercialization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, and production.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in product quality and performance.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies and methodologies.
• Prepare and present reports on project progress and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Aerospace engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a company manufacturing product for Warehouse Automation, Intra-Logistics Automation, Material Handling Systems products (e.g., Conveyors, Sorters, Storage, Mobile Automation)
• At least 3 years hands on experience on packages like UGNX, Team Centre. Experience in drawing conversion from 2D to 3D model, detailed designing, manufacturing / shop drawings, layout drawings for the systems, for above products.
• Should have at least 2-3 years of work experience on Design of components for static structures.
• Preferably experience in small to mid-sized companies with broader responsibilities
• Good understanding in different manufacturing processes, assembly of products on material handling systems, warehouse automation
