Design Engineer

Mandatory Skills

Good technical understanding Proficiency in CAD/design software

Job Responsibilities

Design and develop products using
SolidWorks, AutoCAD
, and other CAD tools.
Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility.
Record, analyze, and review design data; modify designs as required for manufacturing.
Prepare
BOM (Bill of Materials)
and technical documents such as Control Plan, Process Sheet, and OPL.
Perform basic engineering and design calculations.
Support fabrication teams by providing accurate and clear design specifications.
Prepare cost estimates and submit periodic reports to the reporting manager.
Participate in weekly team meetings and provide progress updates.
Handle
reverse engineering
tasks when required.
Apply working knowledge of
GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
in drawings.
