The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, designing, and improving new and existing products. The Design Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure that designs meet customer needs and company standards. Key Responsibilities: Product Design and Development: Conceptualize, design, and develop new products and components using SolidWorks software. Create detailed drawings, 3D models, and specifications for manufacturing. Conduct feasibility studies and testing to validate design concepts. Project Management: Manage design projects from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence. Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Technical Analysis and Problem Solving: Perform engineering calculations and simulations to verify design integrity. Identify and resolve design issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions. Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and maintain design documentation, including technical drawings, reports, and BOMs (Bill of Materials). Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies. Continuous Improvement: Participate in design reviews and suggest improvements to enhance product performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness. Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in design engineering.
