Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Design Engineer for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects. The candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and layouts for building services, ensuring they meet engineering standards, client specifications, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for MEP systems including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other project stakeholders.
• Modify and revise designs based on review comments and project changes.
• Interpret MEP system design calculations and convert them into drawings.
• Create as-built drawings after site execution.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to project specifications, codes, and standards (e.g., NBC, IS codes, international codes).
• Maintain drawing logs and file management for all design documents.
• Assist in resolving design-related issues during project execution.
• Conduct regular coordination with the site team for design clarifications and updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting/designing for MEP systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D is mandatory; 3D is a plus).
• Knowledge of MEP standards, symbols, and detailing practices.
• Good understanding of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
