Proficiency in Solid Edge and/or SolidWorks (3D parametric modeling, assemblies, and drafting).
Working knowledge of AutoCAD for 2D layout and detailing.
Experience in parametric and associative modeling techniques.
Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and tolerance stack-up analysis.
Basic understanding of material selection, manufacturing processes, and fastening/welding methods.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) or simulation tools (optional but preferred).
Knowledge of engineering change management and BOM control.
B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
