Design Drafter(Water Treatment)

Prepare precise 2D and 3D technical drawings, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, piping layouts, sectional views, and equipment layouts for water treatment projects such as STPs and desalination plants. • Produce detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM) related to civil, mechanical, and piping disciplines. • Coordinate with design engineers and project managers to ensure drawings meet project specifications, technical standards, and client requirements. • Manage and support the complete project drawing cycle including conceptual design, detailed design, construction drawings, and as-built documentation. • Review and verify design details in drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. • Prepare and update P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), isometric drawings, cable routing, and foundation plans. • Collaborate with procurement and manufacturing teams to detail components, prepare material take-offs, and support fabrication. • Attend project meetings and site visits as required to collect measurements, clarify design intent, and resolve drawing-related queries with clients and consultants. • Ensure effective documentation and configuration management of all project drawings using CAD and project management software. • Maintain company drawing standards and contribute to continuous improvement of drafting processes. • Deliver projects on time while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
