Role Overview

The Regional Design Architect will be responsible for driving end-to-end design development for retail fitness centers (Gyms, Boutique Studios, Hybrid formats) within the assigned region. The role requires strong design proficiency, vendor & stakeholder management, and on-ground execution oversight to ensure brand-aligned, cost-efficient, and timely delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design Development

• Lead concept-to-GFC design lifecycle for new gyms and retail studios.
• Conduct site audits, feasibility studies, and zoning layouts as per brand standards.
• Ensure brand consistency while continuously improving spatial efficiency and look & feel.

Project Coordination

• Work closely with Project Managers, Commercial, Business, and Operations to align scope, brand language& timelines.
• Coordinate with vendors, consultants (HVAC, MEP, Structural), GC teams for seamless execution.
• Resolve design queries through site visits, RFIs, mark-ups, and approvals.

Brand & Innovation

• Support evolution of retail design standards across product categories (Elite, Neo, Pilates).
• Benchmark best-in-class design references from global retail and fitness experiences.
• Advocate sustainable and efficient solutions (energy, acoustics, facility planning, safety).

Required Skills & Experience

• B.Arch

  with 6

  -8 years

  of relevant experience.
• Prior design delivery in

  gyms, fitness centers, or multi-site retail

  preferred.
• Strong understanding of

  MEP coordination

  and

  site execution

  workflows.
• Proficiency in

  AutoCAD, SketchUp/Revit, and rendering tools

  .
• Ability to read and produce clear GFC packages and detail drawings.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and vendor management skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the region for site reviews.
